About Ian Hodgkinson

I have built it, led it and lived it.

From apprentice bricklayer to business owner, housebuilder, project leader and board adviser, Ian’s judgement is grounded in how construction works in the real world.

The working story

Built from the tools upwards.

Ian began on the tools. That foundation still shapes the way he works: understand the detail, respect the people doing the job and never lose sight of delivery.

Since then, he has built and led construction businesses, delivered housing, negotiated development opportunities, worked with partners and managed high-pressure projects where the date could not move.

Based in Derby, Ian works across the Midlands and throughout the UK, bringing clear commercial thinking and practical construction leadership to projects that need a way forward.
